Young Professionals in Energy (YPE) LA presents a networking panel event, The Circular Economy: Sustainable Fashion Practices, that will be held at FIDM Los Angeles on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.
Have you ever wondered if your clothes are being produced sustainably, how best to discard them when you no longer want them, or ways you can make more mindful fashion choices? YPE LA has convened a panel of sustainable fashion industry experts to explain concepts of sustainability as they apply to the fashion industry, including the circular economy and best practices.
Panelists include Jaclyn Allen, Director of Corporate Sustainability at GUESS?, Inc., Jennifer Gilbert, CMO of I:CO, and Kristine Upesleja, LA Textiles & Materials Manager at FIDM. The experts will discuss the main challenges of implementing sustainable practices in the fashion industry and how they are being addressed. Learn how you can get involved and make an impact.
